Themurder rate in Israel is one of the world's lowest, according to a new studyconducted by the University of Haifa…the research shows that the number ofmurders per 100,000 people was 2.35 in 1980 and 2.29 in 2006. These numbers arelow compared to other countries..for instance, the number of murdersper 100,000 people in 2004 was 7.5 in the United States...
